Users of the Huawei Ascend G300 (U8815) phone on Vodafone in the UK can now upgrade to Android 4.0.3 – Ice Cream Sandwich – online, even with the standard Vodafone mobile phone (without any need for custom roms or unlocking or rooting the phone) as Vodafone has now provided the official update. This should make the G300 one of the cheapest phones available in the UK with ICS.
